In Canada you must be certified by Explosive Regulatory Division of Canada to acquire, store and use Display Fireworks and Special Effect Pyrotechnics. Before applying for certification, you must complete a Safety & Awareness  training course. Archangel Fireworks Inc. is a certified course provider, offering both online virtual training and in person training.

Before applying for certification or registering for training, be sure you understand the difference between Display Fireworks and Special Effects Pyrotechnics. Be sure to choose the certification and training path which applies to your situation.

The Display Assistant Certificate is the entry level certification that will allow you to handle and shoot Display, "Professional" fireworks. You will learn how to safely set-up and fire professional fireworkswhile under supervision.

The Pyrotechnician Certificate is the entry level certification that will allow you to handle and shoot indoor and close proximity pyrotechnics. You will learn how to safely set-up and fire pyrotechnics while under supervision.
